The GOHS Grizzly Orchestra had another amazing, memorable 2025-2026 school year:

• For 3 years in a row, 3 orchestras received sweepstakes at UIL, the highest rating!  
• For 3 years in a row, we took a full orchestra, made up of students from orchestra and band, to UIL contest and received sweepstakes!  We are one of 2 CISD schools with a full orchestra
• The Grand Oaks Full Orchestra also performed at the CWM Pavilion for the Holly Jolly Pops concert!
• For 3 years, we had more than 10 students audition for and make the Region 9 orchestra!  
• For 2 years, we had a student make the Texas All-State orchestra, performing at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA).  
• Over the past 3 years, we had 50-70 students qualify for the State Solo & Ensemble Contest (TSSEC) each year, taking home 20-33 medals, more than any other Region 9 school!  
• Over the past 3 years, at TSSEC 5 students were awarded the Outstanding Musician Award, which is only given to 2% of participants!  
• We performed in Carnegie Hall in NYC and Meyerson Performance Hall in Dallas!  This year we will perform at Universal Studios!
• In 2025, the GO Full Orchestra ranked in the top 5 orchestras in the Texas South Zone!

Our program continues to accomplish extraordinary achievements, which couldn't happen without dedicated parents and generous sponsors!

Continuing to strive for excellence, the Grand Oaks Grizzly Orchestra is excited to announce we will compete in the Lone Star Classic Music Festival next Spring, performing in the home of the Dallas Symphony!

There are a few ways you can “Make Your Mark” in support of the GOHS Grizzly Orchestra Program.  Business sponsorship opportunities are available, including signage, program ad space, web-site recognition, and more.  You have the freedom to select what type of advertisement best suits your business while also supporting the GOHS Grizzly Orchestra program and its performers.

We are excited to work with you for the best return on investment!  In addition to our traditional sponsorships, some unique opportunities are also available such as:  homecoming giveaways sponsorship, apparel sponsorship, trade advertising for services and anything else you have to offer.  Talk to us about your idea and we can work together to make a package specific to your business’s needs.
