The GOHS Grizzly Orchestra had another amazing, memorable 2023-24 school year:

• At our UIL contest, for the second year in a row, all 3 orchestras received sweepstakes, the highest rating!
• And for the second time in Grand Oaks history and second year in a row, we took our full orchestra, made up of students from orchestra and band, to the UIL contest and also received sweepstakes!
• The Grand Oaks Orchestra performed at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City!
• We had 12 students (up from 10 last year) audition for and make the Region 9 orchestra!
• One student, Zoe Winn, made the Texas All-State Orchestra, performing at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) last February.
• We had 47 students qualify for the State Solo & Ensemble Contest (TSSEC), taking home 20 medals, and for the second year in a row, more than any other Region 9 school!
• Also at TSSEC, 3 of our students (up from 1 last year), Elizabeth Howard, Ethan Lammayot, and Elayna Nguyen, were designated "Outstanding Performer," which is only given to 2-3% of participants!

Our program continues to accomplish extraordinary achievements, which couldn't happen without dedicated parents and generous sponsors!

Continuing to strive for excellence, the Grand Oaks Grizzly Orchestra is excited to announce we will compete in the Lone Star Classic Music Festival next Spring, performing in the home of the Dallas Symphony!

There are a few ways you can “Make Your Mark” in support of the GOHS Grizzly Orchestra Program.  Business sponsorship opportunities are available, including signage, program ad space, web-site recognition, and more.  You have the freedom to select what type of advertisement best suits your business while also supporting the GOHS Grizzly Orchestra program and its performers.

We are excited to work with you for the best return on investment!  In addition to our traditional sponsorships, some unique opportunities are also available such as:  homecoming giveaways sponsorship, apparel sponsorship, trade advertising for services and anything else you have to offer.  Talk to us about your idea and we can work together to make a package specific to your business’s needs.
