About Our BOOSTER CLUB
Mission
The Grand Oaks Orchestra Booster Club is dedicated to enhancing the education of orchestra student musicians by supporting the Grand Oaks High School Orchestra program, the students, and the directors.
Purpose
- To support the GOHS Orchestra program, the students, and the directors.
- To raise funds to be used by or for the benefit of the GOHS Orchestra students and directors.
- To provide support and volunteers for GOHS Orchestra extracurricular activities.
- To publicize GOHS Orchestra concerts and events in our school and community.
Accomplishments
- Purchased an additional set of lockers for the violin and viola students.
- Provided two $1,000 scholarships to graduating Seniors.
- Provided funds for and assisted with the end of the year banquets.
- Assisted with numerous social events throughout the school year since the beginning of the GOHS Orchestra program.
- Supported our student musicians and the GOHS Orchestra program by providing funds for Region Orchestra, Honor Orchestra, and UIL events.
