3 GOHS ORCHESTRA students DESIGNATED "Outstanding Performer" AT TSsE CONTEST!
May 27, 2024: Congratulations to Elizabeth Howard, Ethan Lammayot, and Elayna Nguyen for being selected as an OUTSTANDING PERFORMER at the 2024 Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest in Austin, Texas. Each solo judge may designate exemplary soloists as Outstanding Performers. Of the approximately 100,000 students participating in the contest, only 2%-3% of the solo performances earned the distinguished honor of being recognized as an Outstanding Performer. This achievement represents the attainment by an individual of superior musicianship and is truly a mark of musical excellence!
GRIZZY ORCHESTRA ONCE AGAIN DOMINATES AT TSsE CONTEST, WINS MOST MEDALS FOR 2ND YEAR IN A ROW!
May 27, 2024: Congratulations to the Grand Oaks Orchestra students that participated in the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest on May 27, 2024! We had 47 students qualify to participate in the Contest! On Memorial Day, 24 of these students traveled to Austin to compete. We came home with 20 medals, more than any other school in our region!
